New International Connections to Portugal and Lebanon
This summer, Nice Côte d’Azur Airport is enriched with connections to two destinations previously unexplored by the airline Transavia: Faro in Portugal and Beirut in Lebanon.
This service extension illustrates Transavia’s desire to expand its network and offer diverse travel options to its customers.
Flights to Faro will be available twice a week, on Thursdays and Sundays, starting July 18, 2024. Beirut, on the other hand, will be served every Wednesday starting July 17.
Significant Expansion of the Air Network
Nice Côte d’Azur Airport confirms its status as an international air hub with the announcement of several significant new air connections for 2024. EasyJet, Air France, Etihad Airways, and American Airlines contribute to a notable expansion of the offer, proposing varied destinations such as Los Angeles, Tenerife, Abu Dhabi, and Philadelphia. This expansion meets a growing demand for direct connections to distant destinations and illustrates a dynamic strategy of opening up to the world.
Adaptation to International Events
Air France’s initiative to schedule special flights from Los Angeles to Nice for the highlights of the Côte d’Azur in May 2024 demonstrates a remarkable ability to adapt to the demands of major events. These flights, aimed at facilitating access to major events such as the Cannes Film Festival and the Monaco Grand Prix F1, reflect the region’s importance on the international stage.
These new air routes not only facilitate cultural and economic exchanges but also international tourism, highlighting the growing appeal of the region as a major destination on economic, cultural, and tourist maps.
