A new summer route to and from Nice
This summer 2025, the Normandy-based airline Chalair will operate flights from Nice to Brive. Nestled in the heart of Corrèze, this city with timeless charm invites visitors to enjoy its warm atmosphere and experience a true journey back in time.
The flights, operated with a 70-seat ATR 72, will take place every Friday from June 27 to September 5, 2025, according to the following schedule:
- Departure from Nice at 15:30 – Arrival in Brive at 17:00 (1h30 flight)
- Departure from Brive at 13:20 – Arrival in Nice at 14:50 (1h30 flight)
Tickets are available on the website www.chalair.fr, through travel agencies (on-site or online), or by phone at 0892 700 499 (service €0.40 per minute + call charges).
According to Alain Battisti, President of Chalair: “This new seasonal route from Nice is a great opportunity to link the Côte d’Azur with Brive, an authentically charming destination at the heart of the Southwest and Corrèze’s heritage.”

2025: an expanding network in Nice
The launch of the Nice–Brive route is part of a broader expansion dynamic at Nice Côte d’Azur Airport. Several new routes have been introduced in 2025:
- easyJet inaugurated Düsseldorf in June and will launch Hurghada (Egypt) in October, in addition to summer routes to Santorini and Lamezia Terme.
- Air Corsica now operates a year-round service between Nice and Florence.
- United Airlines launched a direct transatlantic route between Nice and Washington, boosting business connectivity with the U.S. capital.
- Air Canada resumed its seasonal service between Nice and Montreal.
- Animawings opened a new Nice–Bucharest route, strengthening links with Eastern Europe.
These openings further position Nice as a Mediterranean hub connecting regional destinations, European capitals, and major intercontinental gateways.
2024: a year of growth
Among the 122 destinations offered across 45 countries, long-haul routes reached unprecedented levels, with 5 routes to the United States, 2 to Canada, and 6 to Gulf countries.
