From June 11 to 14, 2025, Paris hosted Viva Technology, the largest European trade show dedicated to technological innovation. With more than 165,000 visitors, the event brought together startups, investors, public decision-makers and major companies around the technologies of tomorrow. The 2025 edition was particularly marked by international openness and major digital, ecological and industrial transitions.
A collective mobilisation of the economic stakeholders of the Région Sud
Driven by the Région Sud – Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur and its economic development agency risingSUD, this year’s regional delegation brought together 40 startups selected to represent the territory’s know-how and innovation.
The regional stand, coordinated by risingSUD, was inaugurated by Bernard Kleynhoff, President of risingSUD and representative of the President of the Région Sud, Renaud Muselier. This collective mobilisation brought together numerous regional economic partners: Business France, local attractiveness agencies, La French Tech Côte d’Azur, local authorities, metropolitan areas and intercommunal bodies.
Team Nice Côte d’Azur was part of this collective delegation and thus contributed to promoting the economic and technological assets of the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis, in close coordination with all regional partners.
A delegation serving the territory’s strategic sectors
The Team Nice Côte d’Azur team — composed of Sana Bouyahia, Axelle Xerri and Jean-François Chapperon — ensured the economic promotion of the Nice Côte d’Azur territory to investors, project developers and international partners.
This presence is fully in line with the economic strategy of the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis, structured around its key sectors:
