The Victorine Studios in Nice, a historic symbol of French cinema, are the subject of an ambitious modernization project. With an investment of 35 million euros, this project aims to transform the infrastructure to make the Victorine Studios an international hub for film creation.
On Wednesday, May 15, 2024, the Studios welcomed the visit of Laurent Saint Martin, Director General of Business France, and a delegation of 21 Brazilian companies in the audiovisual sector.
Business France Supports the International Promotion of the Victorine Studios
Laurent Saint-Martin, Director General of Business France, visited the Victorine Studios in Nice and was able to discuss the renewed project of the Nice studios with Hervé Laubertie, Director General of Team Nice Côte d’Azur, Jean-François Chapperon, Jessica Bovis, representative of the CCI Nice Côte d’Azur and president of the group, and David Danesi, CEO of Digital District.
Business France is committed to supporting this project in its international development and thus contributing to the influence of the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis among the actors of the Cultural and Creative Industries.

The day also allowed a delegation of 21 Brazilian companies in the audiovisual sector to discover the Victorine Studios.
Welcomed by Maryam Rousta Giroud and Massiomo Ditta of the Victorine Studios, and organized by risingSUD and the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur Region, these visits are part of the facilitation of development opportunities between Brazil and the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region.
Axelle Xerri, Head of Strategic Investment at Team Nice Côte d’Azur, presented the multiple opportunities offered by the territory, thus reinforcing the attractiveness of Nice for talents and investors.
