Nolt completes a second funding round of €1.7 million with the support of impact investors. The transaction is structured around historical partners and new entrants. The Rosenpick & Associés firm supported the fundraising.
The Nice-based startup is accelerating the industrialisation of its “Maillot Infini” project. It is the first 100% circular sports jersey, designed according to the principles of the circular economy. This development strengthens the company’s CSR identity.
The seed funding round will make it possible to strengthen the digitalisation of the platform with a new version of its 3D configurator. The tool will be powered by artificial intelligence to optimise customisation.
A B2B structure is being initiated with an establishment in Paris. Nolt is also securing a strategic partnership with ReGNR, a European circular logistics player. The company is continuing its national and European growth.
A trajectory structured around the circular economy
Based in Nice, the eco-responsible sports equipment brand Nolt announced on Linkedin the completion of a €1.7 million funding round. This seed funding round was carried out with the support of its historical investors, including Impact Business Angels, as well as new entrants such as Impact Seed Ventures, GROUPE RIVE NEUVE via its FCPR Impact Performance, Matthieu Pigasse (Combat Holding), Les Gars des Eaux, ve2.ventures and Omar da Fonseca and others.
The fundraising is led by the Rosenpick & Associés firm, a strategy and fundraising advisory player. It marks a structuring milestone for Nolt, which is continuing to develop an equipment supplier model based on circularity, digital technology and environmental performance, with the ambition of becoming the first digital and circular equipment manufacturer in the world.
An industrial scale-up built around the “Maillot Infini”
The “Maillot Infini” is a technical garment made from recycled polyester and designed to be recycled at the end of its life cycle. Winner of Refashion’s 2023 Innovation Challenge, this 100% circular jersey is part of a transformation of the sports equipment sector.
The objective of this funding round is to industrialise the manufacturing process, initiated since 2023. This project positions Nolt in the segment of impact brands committed to reducing textile waste and creating sustainable value chains.
The digital platform scales up with artificial intelligence
Since its first €500,000 funding round in 2024, Nolt has invested in the development of a digital offering. This new phase of financing will enable the deployment of an enhanced version of its 3D configurator, integrating features powered by artificial intelligence.
Focus on commercial structuring and European expansion
In parallel with product and technology development, Nolt intends to initiate a structuring of its B2B activity with a dedicated team in Paris.
The funding round must also make it possible to secure a strategic agreement with ReGNR, presented as the first circular logistics warehouse in Europe.
Sport, a lever for attractiveness and influence for Nice Côte d’Azur
Nice obtained level 4 of the “Active and Sporty City” label in October 2025. This distinction is awarded by the National Council of Active and Sporty Cities. Level 4 represents the highest level of recognition in the scheme.
More than 100,000 participants are recorded in more than 65 disciplines. They are spread across 600 clubs benefiting from 335 sports facilities. The facilities are distributed across the entire municipal territory.
The label obtained by Nice Côte d’Azur further strengthens the place of sport as a pillar of the attractiveness of the Nice Côte d’Azur area. It reflects an integrated strategy in which sport becomes a vector of economic development, international influence and territorial cohesion.
In this perspective, the area is committed to regularly hosting national and international events, relying on high-performance sports and logistical infrastructures, multimodal accessibility, an adapted hotel offering and a natural environment conducive to a diversity of practices.
In 2024, Nice hosted the finish of the Men’s Tour de France. In 2026, it will notably host the Women’s Tour de France, the ARES Fighting Championship (MMA) season at the Palais Nikaïa, as well as triathlon and trail events such as IRONMAN® and Nice Côte d’Azur by UTMB®. This dense calendar illustrates the region’s ability to maintain continuous sports activity and to diversify the disciplines represented.
The prospect of the 2030 Winter Olympic Games, for which Nice will be a host city for ice sports events, will confirm this international trajectory and consolidate the role of the metropolis as a platform for hosting major sporting events.
