A strategic immersion in the ICC ecosystem of Nice Côte d’Azur
On June 20, 2025, Nice Côte d’Azur welcomed a delegation of international business managers from Business France for a training day dedicated to the cultural and creative industries (CCI/ICC).
This visit, organized as part of a national program led by Business France, aimed to strengthen the ability of experts to promote the region’s assets internationally.
The session, jointly coordinated on site by Camille Klein (risingSUD) and Axelle Xerri (Team Nice Côte d’Azur), is part of the ongoing effort to position Nice Côte d’Azur in the strategic sectors of video games, audiovisual, and digital content.
A program focused on discovering the region’s strengths
The program included several targeted visits that allowed participants to understand the local economic reality.
At the Studios de la Victorine, Victor Simonnet presented ongoing projects and development perspectives in audiovisual production. At ISART DIGITAL Nice, Laurent Cluzel explained the school’s establishment strategy. Studios such as GameCo Studio and Umanoid were presented by Arnaud Bordas (Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis), and Phoenix Block3 by César Pinelli.
These exchanges provided a comprehensive overview of a region that combines education, production, and innovation within a sector-integrated approach.
Enhancing the region’s international visibility
In close collaboration with Région Sud and risingSUD, this initiative aims to enable Business France teams to better promote, abroad, the tools and assets available in Nice Côte d’Azur for cultural and digital businesses.
It reflects long-term joint efforts to promote the ICC sector as a driver of economic attractiveness. Through this initiative, public partners aim to facilitate the establishment of new players by relying on existing infrastructures, a recognized training offer, and a growing entrepreneurial fabric.
We thank the Business France experts in attendance: Gwendoline Castillo, Maritxu Bonnet, Johanna Nifaut, Julia Casamayor, Aurore Labbé-Tessier, Florian Leclercq, Lysandre Aubertin, as well as the program coordinators: Élisabeth Calas (Business France) and Anne-Laure Bouhadef (Project Director, TFI).
