Nice Chosen to Host EVO, the World’s Largest Fighting Game Tournament, in October 2025
The Evolution Championship Series (EVO), the world’s most prestigious one-on-one fighting game tournament, has chosen Nice for its next edition in October 2025 Founded in 1996, EVO gathers thousands of fighting game enthusiasts each year. At the last edition held in Las Vegas from July 19 to 21, 2024, over 10,000 players from 63 countries competed.
A European First
EVO will be held in Europe for the first time, specifically at the Palais des Expositions in Nice, from October 10 to 12, 2025. This announcement was made by Christian Estrosi, Mayor of Nice, who expressed his pride and enthusiasm. He highlighted the city’s capacity to host large events and its expertise, having already hosted the LFL Days three times.
