
The European Union has allocated €11.6 million to the extension of the Promenade du Paillon. This funding is granted through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). It complements the contributions from the French State and the Region.
The extension of the Promenade du Paillon was inaugurated in October 2025. The project is part of an urban transformation operation. It includes objectives related to soil permeability and greening.
The funding brings together several institutional partners. The French State contributes €7.9 million and the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur Region €14.7 million.
European funding of €11.6 million for the extension of the Promenade du Paillon
The extension of the Promenade du Paillon benefits from €11.6 million in funding awarded by the European Union through the ERDF (European Regional Development Fund). This contribution is added to the funding already stated for the project: €7.9 million from the French State and €14.7 million from the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur Region.
