The Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis launches the Entrepreneurship in Research Prize.
As part of its research support policy, the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis is committed to promoting the excellence of Côte d’Azur research in the field of entrepreneurship and making it known to the general public. In order to encourage this initiative, it has established the Entrepreneurship in Research Prize.
Call for applications from May 2 to June 30, 2024

If you are working on impact projects related to climate, human health and the environment, you are invited to submit your application.
The nature of the prize
An “Innovative Company” Prize rewarding a model company in the metropolitan area, which derives its expertise from public research or in collaboration with research. The winner will receive an endowment of €4,000.
- Three “My Entrepreneurial Project” Prizes for student-entrepreneurs, in order to support the spirit of entrepreneurship in the areas of excellence of the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis. Each prize will be accompanied by an endowment of €2,000.
- Trois Prix “Mon projet entrepreneurial” destinés aux étudiants-entrepreneurs, afin de soutenir l’esprit d’entreprendre dans les filières d’excellence de la Métropole Nice Côte d’Azur. Chaque prix sera accompagné d’une dotation de 2 000 €.
The awards ceremony will take place on November 21 from 5pm.
The 2023 winners
The company Innov&Sea, led by Pauline Cotinat, won the Innovative Company Award for its non-invasive procedure for analyzing the marine environmental impact, using in vitro cytotoxicity tests on marine organism cultures. The My Entrepreneurial Project Awards were given to Mauvaise Herbe studio for its solutions for bringing life back to the heart of cities, to Paperock for its marketplace for buying and selling SCPI shares, and to Rock Sensation for its eco-responsible climbing holds made of stone and wood
