Opening of Château de Crémat: A Discovery Day on June 8, 2024
On Saturday, June 8, 2024, Château de Crémat, located in the heart of the Bellet hills, will welcome the public for a day of discovering its vineyard and history. This event, previously held in November, promises an enriching experience for locals and visitors, wine enthusiasts, and the merely curious alike.
A Rich and Diverse Program
The open house day at Château de Crémat offers a variety of activities for all ages. Visitors can enjoy inflatable games for children, a DJ set, a market of local producers and artisans, musicians, and an exhibition of high-end cars. Boules courts will also be available. Guided tours will explore the castle’s history, its cellars, and galleries, offering a unique insight into the Bellet appellation.
A Place Steeped in History and Tradition
Built in 1906, Château de Crémat is a key element of the Bellet appellation, created in 1941 and unique for its location entirely within the walls of Nice. The estate spans 10 hectares of certified organic vineyards, at an altitude between 200 and 300 meters. Acquired in 2017 by a family of French industrialists, the château has been renovated to respect the Niçoise architecture and decorated in an “Art Deco” style with Ritz furniture.
A Premier Event Venue
Today, Château de Crémat is a recognized event venue, hosting concerts, private showcases, and various events such as the Art de la Fête, which gathers more than 30 exhibitors from the Côte d’Azur each year. The open house days strengthen the connection between the château and the local community, offering an opportunity to discover and celebrate this exceptional heritage.
