Can you tell us about your business ?
Over the past years, the awareness of the software quality’s impact increased and led to software testing professionalization. For twenty years, Acial bet on software testing and became a leading French pure player in the sector. The headquarters are in Paris and we have agencies notably in Lille, Nantes, Lyon, Sophia Antipolis and in Switzerland.
With strong, double digit growth, Acial settled in Sophia Antipolis in January to support the technopole’s companies by improving the quality of their information systems. We utilize all kinds of testing: functional testing, integration testing, performance testing, non-regression testing automation. We can support companies in the amelioration of their testing processes thanks to maturity audits and recommendations. Moreover, we offer our support expertise to set up tools and testing methodologies. We are certified ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) and as a training organization.
Why did you choose the Côte d’Azur ?
Sophia Antipolis technopole has numerous needs. Our presence was inevitable and strategic regarding the myriad of actual opportunities especially the positive evolution of Sophia Antipolis’ activities. Moreover, the surrounding area also presents opportunities in Marseille, Aix-en-Provence, Toulon, etc.
What particular support have you received from Team Côte d’Azur while choosing a location and setting up?
Team Côte d’Azur essentially helped us to connect with the ecosystem, to gain business visibility with its network and to recruit new talent.
What are your projects and goals for the coming year?
We are an agency which grows daily, we aim to be a reference software testing partner with Sophia Antipolis’ actors. Our ambition is to reach a 50 person team within the next 3 years. We currently have 30 people working at Acial in Sophia Antipolis.
