From August 28 to 29, 2025, Team Nice Côte d’Azur will take part in the 23rd International Congress of Nutrition (ICN) in Paris. Organized by SFN, FFN, FENS and IUNS, this global event will bring together more than 4,000 participants around the theme “Sustainable Food for Global Health.”
Sana Bouyahia, Head of Project Development – Health & Sports, will represent Team Nice Côte d’Azur in order to promote the regional ecosystem to international stakeholders in the sector: companies, research centers, investors, institutions and clusters.
The objective: highlight the dynamics of the Côte d’Azur in global health, nutrition, sport and innovation.
The Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis is today established as a hub of excellence in health and applied research. It stands out with a structured ecosystem combining cutting-edge hospital infrastructures (Nice University Hospital), academic excellence (Université Côte d’Azur), artificial intelligence (3IA Côte d’Azur), and a strong capacity for technological innovation.
Flagship projects, such as the IHU RespirERA, the Skin Institute, or Caranx Medical – the first Nice medtech company authorized by the FDA – illustrate this leadership.
The participation of Team Nice Côte d’Azur at the ICN is part of a series of structuring initiatives at the Euro-Mediterranean scale.
In June 2025, the One Health Forum co-organized in Nice by Université Côte d’Azur, IMREDD and Italian and Monegasque partners, brought together coastal innovation ecosystems around sustainability and well-being in the blue economy, on the eve of the United Nations Ocean Conference (UNOC-3).
In September 2023, Team Nice Côte d’Azur also organized My Health Day, dedicated to promoting a holistic vision of health. Held at the National Sports Museum, this event brought together nearly 80 professionals around the theme “Physical activity, nutrition and mental health,” with the support of Nice University Hospital, Université Côte d’Azur, Tendances Sport, Stade Niçois Rugby and the Museum. At the same time, the public health village set up at Nice TNL raised awareness among the population about health prevention.
These initiatives illustrate the determination of the Nice Côte d’Azur territory to position health as a lever for economic development, social cohesion and territorial attractiveness.
Through its participation in ICN 2025, Team Nice Côte d’Azur confirms the ambition of the territory to become a key player in the major nutritional, medical and environmental transitions in favor of sustainable global health.
