As part of a targeted effort to support local innovation, the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis is launching a unique acceleration program for early-stage companies in strategic sectors.
This initiative, titled “Strategic Sector Start-ups,” is aimed at start-ups in the fields of health, the blue economy, and cultural and creative industries (CCI).
The program is open to companies based in the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis that are less than three years old, with a turnover below €250,000 and a solid business plan.
The objective: to structure their growth through comprehensive support tailored to the concrete needs of entrepreneurs.
Over a six-month period, selected start-ups will benefit from a tailored program: development diagnostics, one-on-one coaching with industry experts, group workshops (financing, strategy, CSR), peer-to-peer knowledge sharing, and meetings with investors. The program is fully funded by the Metropolis.
Applications can be submitted until May 11, 2025.
The selection, scheduled for May 23, will be carried out by a panel of experts who will assess the relevance of the projects, their feasibility, and their potential impact on the region.
Selected companies will commit to completing the full program between September and December 2025. This intensive format is designed to accommodate the operational constraints of start-ups while maximizing the program’s impact.
Through this initiative, the Metropolis is advancing its strategy to promote priority economic sectors and enhance its appeal to entrepreneurial talent.
