New Leadership at the Incubateur Provence Côte d’Azur
Maureen Clerc, director of the Inria center at Université Côte d’Azur, has been elected president of the Incubateur Provence Côte d’Azur, under the direction of Laurent Masson. She succeeds Laurent Londeix.
In 2023, the 132 active companies from the 266 incubated projects have generated 1,550 direct jobs and a turnover of 152 million euros. These figures highlight the significant economic impact of the incubator on the region, demonstrating its ability to foster job creation and economic growth.
The incubated companies have raised a total of 305 million euros in funding, with more than two-thirds coming from the private sector. This funding enables startups to develop their innovations and strengthen their market position, thereby reinforcing the entrepreneurial ecosystem of the Côte d’Azur.

5 Metropolitan Companies Join the Deeptech/MESR and Tourism Programs
Five new metropolitan companies are joining the Incubateur Provence-Côte d’Azur within the DeepTech/MESR and Tourism programs.
Among them, three deeptech startups from the Métropole Nice Côte d’Azur stand out: UncovAI, Kheops, and Innofenso.
- UncovAI has developed a platform for detecting AI-generated content.
- Kheops offers a super AI assistant for SMEs, optimizing processes and assisting employees with their repetitive tasks.
- Innofenso, on the other hand, develops biocontrol solutions using trichogramme insects to combat crop pests.

The Incubateur Provence Côte d’Azur has also selected two startups for its LINKEUS Incubation program. These startups are among the 15 selected as part of the Travel Camp Sud initiative, led by the Région Sud – Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur and the tourism incubators Provence Travel Innovation and LINKEUS Incubation.
Apeyron Environnement offers biodéchet management solutions for tourism professionals, while Planeezy provides a staff scheduling application, meeting the specific needs of the sector.
