The DRCI of Nice University Hospital is holding its eighth research and innovation evening on 9 December 2025. The event starts at 6 p.m. in the Le Galet auditorium at Pasteur 2 Hospital. Prof. Marc-Olivier Gauci will act as general moderator for this edition dedicated to digital health.
Two round tables structure the evening’s programme. The first focuses on digital health and artificial intelligence in clinical research. The second deals with digital medical devices from trial to value creation.
The CHU’INNOVE competition features four finalists in contention. The projects are presented through live pitches in front of the audience. Two awards are given: the public prize by vote and the DRCI jury prize.
Sana Bouyahia, Head of Project Development Health & Sports at Team Nice Côte d’Azur, will speak about territorial support. She will contribute to the cross perspectives on digital health research. ARS PACA and RISING SUD will complete this presentation of the local ecosystem.
A programme focused on digital health
The Clinical Research and Innovation Delegation of Nice University Hospital is scheduling its eighth health research and innovation evening for Tuesday 9 December 2025. The event will take place from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Le Galet auditorium located at Pasteur 2 Hospital. This edition focuses on digital health, artificial intelligence, health data and medical devices.
At 6 p.m., Prof. Thierry Passeron, President of the DRCI, will present the key figures and achievements of Clinical Research and Innovation at Nice University Hospital.
At 6:30 p.m., a segment entitled “Cross perspectives on digital health research across our entire territory” will bring together Géraldine Cornet-Vernet, Director of Digital Services at ARS PACA, Sana Bouyahia, Head of Project Development Health & Sports at Team Nice Côte d’Azur, and Camille Charvet, Project Manager for Territorial & Financial Engineering at RISING SUD.
Two round tables led by experts
At 7 p.m., Prof. Pascal Staccini, Full Professor – Hospital Practitioner in Digital Health & AI and Director of the RETINES Laboratory, will moderate the first round table “Digital health, AI, data at the heart of clinical research”.
Prof. Marc-Olivier Gauci, Scientific Director of EDS Méditerranée, Prof. Thierry Passeron, Director of the SKIN Living Lab, Isabelle Lherbette, Director of the Innovation Department of Nice University Hospital, and Nicolas Desrumaux, Legal Director – Digital Health, make up the panel.
At 7:30 p.m., Emmanuel Lebouder, Community Director at Eurobiomed, will lead the round table “From trial to value creation: digital medical devices, digital solutions, market access”.
Prof. Charles-Hugo Marquette, Director of Medical Research at IHU RespiERA, Dr Antoine Tran, paediatrician, Dr Mikaël Cohen, neurologist, and Mathieu Grajoszek, Digital President of Digital Medical Hub, will take part in the discussion.
The CHU’INNOVE competition showcases internal projects
At 8:10 p.m., the CHU’INNOVE 2025 call for projects will present four finalists who will deliver their pitches live. The audience will vote for the public prize, while the DRCI will award its jury prize. Dr Romain Lotte, winner of the 2024 DRCI jury prize, and Dr Lucile Riera-Navarro, winner of the 2024 public prize, will speak during this segment.
At 8:35 p.m., Yoann LAGORCE, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Nice University Hospital, will deliver the conclusion and summary of the evening.
At 8:45 p.m., an honorary award will be presented to Prof. Thierry Passeron.
