From September 3 to 6, 2024, Stefano Cimmarusti, Head of Project Development at Team Nice Côte d’Azur, will represent the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis at SMM 2024 in Hamburg.
This event, recognized as the world’s largest maritime industry gathering, will bring together nearly 40,000 participants from over 120 countries and more than 2,000 exhibiting companies.
Under the theme “Driving the Maritime Transition,” SMM 2024 will highlight cutting-edge technologies and essential innovations for a sustainable transition in the maritime sector.

Stefano Cimmarusti will actively promote the strengths of Nice Côte d’Azur as a European innovation hub at SMM 2024. The participation of Team Nice Côte d’Azur is part of a broader strategy to stimulate innovation in key sectors such as yachting, marine renewable energies, and coastal protection, illustrated by projects such as the Blue Innovation Challenge and the hosting of the United Nations Conference on the Ocean (UNOC 2025) to be held in Nice in June 2025.
