Ubitransport raises €45 million
First fundraising for Ubitransport, an expert in mobility solutions for the public sector set up by Team Côte d’Azur
Seven years after revolutionizing its industry, Ubitransport, leader in digital Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) for the public sector, successfully raised funds for the first time. Its goal is to transform mobility solutions, a major public challenge, at the heart of territories by using digital technologies.
Created in 2012, the scale-up just raised €45 million. Those funds will help the company start a new development phase and launch an acquisition program.
With 50 employees, Ubitransport currently equips more than 100 networks in metropolitan France, French overseas and Canada. In January 2019, the company opened new offices in Cagnes-sur-Mer with the support of Team Côte d’Azur. In particular, the agency in charge of promoting business activities in the Azurean territory helped Ubitransport connect to the local community to facilitate its integration and accelerate the development of its activities in the region.
Ubitransport chose the Côte d’Azur for its dynamism, the quality of its infrastructures, and its renowned living environment to attract qualified profiles. From there, its Business Development and Marketing Department handles the commercial development for France and international markets: targeting, contacts, market analysis…
Ubitransport aims at becoming the leader in mobility solutions for the public sector. After its first successful fundraising, it has the means to meet new challenges linked to mobility and digital solutions by:
➔ Structuring and reinforcing its organization to better meet clients’ needs
➔ Innovating and offering new products and services to communities, transport operators and users that will improve their daily mobility
➔ Accelerating its international expansion with proven solutions.
➔ Making acquisitions to integrate new talents, technologies, and complementary skills.
