Why OMONOVO chose to set up on the Côte d’Azur

OMONOVO is an expert in the field of Alternative and Complementary Medicine, Well-being and Personal Development. The company was created in Barcelona in 2016. Its main objective is to bring a solution to the health and well-being issues faced by millions of people. How to find and identify the relevant discipline with the relevant practitioner? Based on this issue, OMONOVO developed an online booking platform in real time to democratize the whole field of Natural Health.

 

 

  • Can you tell us about your company and your business activities on the Côte d’Azur?

OMONOVO was created in Barcelona in 2016. Its main objective is to bring a solution to the health and well-being issues faced by millions of people. How to find and identify the relevant discipline with the relevant practitioner? Many people often spend years looking for an alternative and complementary solution to their health issues. Word of mouth had to be digitized! OMONOVO is an online booking platform in real time, which democratizes the whole field of Natural Health. Users can book a meeting online in real time with a practitioner (Osteopath, Acupuncturist, etc.), book an activity (Yoga, Pilates, Qi Gong, etc.), a workshop (Nutrition, Reiki, etc.), a trip dedicated to well-being (mindfulness in the mountains, 1 week of yoga in India, multi-activity in the Canary Islands, etc.), or a professional training (Naturopathy, Osteopathy, etc.). We are experts in the field of Alternative Medicine, Well-being and Personal Development.

We developed an internal activity management software for the professionals of the industry who can register on our platform and access OMONOVO MANAGER. OMONOVO MANAGER is our connected Management Software, which enables the automatization of the booking process and schedule planning, as well as many other functionalities linked to the professionals’ activity (Team, Customer File, etc.).

France is a key market for us. 50% of French people are consumers of Natural Health-related services. For 15 years, figures are growing. This phenomenon is similar in the rest of Europe! Setting up our headquarters on the Côte d’Azur is important. It allows us being closer to our users and understanding them better.

  • Why did you choose to set up on the Côte d’Azur?

After 20 years of developing an international career in Barcelona, including 7 years as Branch Manager at Mane, we decided to set up on the Côte d’Azur. We came back to France to create our global headquarters there and lay the groundwork for our international expansion. After so many years abroad, it is important for us to benefit from the support of local institutions and create a relevant professional network from the start. There are many support initiatives available for startups in France and on the Côte d’Azur. We bring an ambitious and promising project and hope to benefit from the relevant support in return – whether on a financial, operational or social level – to develop our company.

  • How is Team Côte d’Azur supporting you?

Right after getting in touch for the first time, Team Côte d’Azur, and the team in charge of the “Life Sciences” field in particular, provided us with all of the useful information we needed regarding our first steps. After introducing our current and future needs, Team Côte d’Azur directed us towards the relevant contacts and shared all of the local support initiatives dedicated to startups with us. Team Côte d’Azur was very responsive and closely followed up with our set-up process, which demonstrates their involvement from the initial set-up phase in the region for any company. Their team is trustworthy, understanding and ready to help us. We are very pleased and confident about the future!

  • What are your growth prospects in the region?

The first step towards our development in France consists in joining the CEEI, which is the Startup Accelerator of Nice Côte d’Azur. This month, we will launch our solution on the French market. We hope that it will be a great success. One of the key phases of our trajectory is to receive the financial support we need to support our growth at the right time. We are currently looking for visionary investors who would like to get on board and help OMONOVO become the top reference in the Natural Health industry in France. Our goal is to digitize and democratize a whole sector. We need financial means to support our launch, which will translate into the recruitment of a dozen people in the coming years. Since we aim at creating a European base on the Côte d’Azur, we need to build a team of highly skilled individuals as soon as possible.
