Below is the first part of our report devoted to foreign companies operating on the C\u00f4te d\u2019Azur in 2015.<\/p>\n<p>There were\u00a0<strong>2,033 foreign-funded institutions<\/strong>\u00a0on the French Riviera in 2015, representing<strong>\u00a01,299 foreign-funded enterprises<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>34,680 jobs.<\/strong>\u00a0It is noted that the headquarters of these establishments are mainly located in the European Union.<\/p>\n<p>Among the new foreign companies operating on the French Riviera in 2015,\u00a0<strong>Titan, Dolby, TDK, Ansys and Bosch<\/strong> were notably supported in their investment decision by Team C\u00f4te d\u2019Azur.<\/p>\n<p>When asked about their reasons for investing on the French Riviera, these foreign companies typically cited the possibility of<strong>\u00a0recruiting a highly skilled international workforce,<\/strong> mastering advanced technologies in the fields of ICT, Environmental Technologies and Health.<\/p>\n<p>This factor was decisive for\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.investincotedazur.com\/en\/bosch-opens-rd-center-on-self-driving-car-in-sophia-antipolis\/\"><strong>Bosch,<\/strong>\u00a0who opened<\/a><strong>\u00a0a center for research and development of autonomous vehicles in Sophia Antipolis,<\/strong>\u00a0housing a hundred engineers specializing in embedded electronics and image processing. \u201cIn 2015, we chose to establish ourselves in Sophia Antipolis because here we undoubtedly face a more favorable community that supports research and development in the field of vehicle electronics.\u201d \u2013\u00a0<em><strong>Heiko Carrie, President of Bosch France<\/strong>\u00a0at the inauguration of the new R&amp;D center of the group in October 2016<\/em>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Foreign investment on the C\u00f4te d\u2019Azur (French Riviera) increased in 2015, as revealed by the latest study published by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Nice C\u00f4te d\u2019Azur (CCI NCA).
