Twenty-four members from 12 countries took part, reflecting the growing international reach of this European network. <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img width=\"620\" height=\"465\" src=\"https:\/\/www.investincotedazur.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/AVC-board.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-25267\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.investincotedazur.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/AVC-board.png 620w, https:\/\/www.investincotedazur.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/AVC-board-300x225.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 620px) 100vw, 620px\" \/><figcaption><em><sub>The Association\u2019s Board of Directors convened during the 30th General Assembly. <\/sub><\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Founded 30 years ago, AVC brings together veterinary consultants active in key areas such as clinical trials, regulatory affairs, toxicology, nutrition, communication and go-to-market strategy. Over the years, the association has established itself as a trusted reference for European and global authorities, including the EMA and EFSA, contributing to working groups on emerging risks, the impact of AI, and veterinary medicines regulation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 2025 edition featured high-level scientific presentations, including a talk by Dr Luca Zilberstein (CAP Douleur) on pain assessment in companion and farm animals, and a presentation by Professor Andy Peters on veterinary projects in Africa supported by the Gates Foundation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nice C\u00f4te d\u2019Azur, which hosted AVC\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.investincotedazur.com\/en\/the-association-of-veterinary-consultants-avc-connecting-nice-to-a-global-network\/\">10th anniversary celebrations in 2023<\/a>, remains a key territory for the association. Three members, including <strong>Dr Rimma Ishimbaeva<\/strong> and Nad\u00e8ge Savelli, are based in the region. President of AVC from 2023 to 2025, Dr Ishimbaeva led a significant phase of expansion. Re-elected this year as <strong>Senior Vice-President<\/strong>, she continues this strategic commitment from the C\u00f4te d\u2019Azur.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Consultants based in Nice support the pharmaceutical industry in the development and registration of veterinary medicinal products.
