Led by Team Nice C\u00f4te d\u2019Azur, with the commitment of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/sana-bouyahia-strategy-innovation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Sana Bouyahia, Head of Project Development Health and Sports<\/a>, this informal format facilitates the emergence of concrete and cross-sector synergies between newcomers and established players. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The third edition, held on November 4, 2025, confirmed the relevance of this approach: once again, the discussions helped strengthen an active and engaged network around key issues in healthcare innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:37px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2>Showcasing emerging local expertise<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>During the various editions, several young companies were invited to present their projects in a short format, showcasing the richness of the local innovation landscape: smart medical devices, biotechnologies, AI-driven health platforms, clinical research, and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The combined presence of researchers, clinicians, industry professionals, institutional representatives, and investors enabled direct, meaningful exchanges that fostered high-potential collaborations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:37px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2>A continuously evolving HealthTech ecosystem<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The C\u00f4te d\u2019Azur region benefits from a strong scientific and technological foundation:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>The Nice University Hospital (CHU) and Universit\u00e9 C\u00f4te d\u2019Azur are leading major initiatives such as the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.investincotedazur.com\/en\/nice-will-host-hospital-university-institute-dedicated-to-respiratory-health\/\">IHU RespirERA<\/a>, dedicated to chronic respiratory diseases.<\/li><li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.investincotedazur.com\/en\/the-skin-institute-to-be-established-in-nice\/\">Skin Institute<\/a>, dedicated to digital dermatology, and the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.investincotedazur.com\/3ia-cote-azur-gouvernance-2025\/\"> 3IA C\u00f4te d\u2019Azur (AI applied to healthcare) <\/a>confirm the region\u2019s strong positioning in personalized medicine and translational research.<\/li><li>Projects such as Dimicare (targeted antibiotics, a spin-off from INSERM \u2013 CNRS \u2013 UniCA), <a href=\"https:\/\/www.investincotedazur.com\/en\/nucleate-france-unica-strengthens-the-ties-between-research-industry-and-entrepreneurship-in-life-sciences\/\">Nucleate France UniCA<\/a> (academic entrepreneurship), and ARROW illustrate the region\u2019s ability to translate fundamental research into clinical innovation.<\/li><li>Local startups such as<a href=\"https:\/\/www.investincotedazur.com\/en\/algenscribe-secures-refinancing-to-accelerate-its-technological-development\/\"> Algenscribe<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.investincotedazur.com\/en\/the-nice-based-biotech-roca-therapeutics-reaches-a-new-milestone-in-its-development\/\">Roca Therapeutics<\/a>,<a href=\"https:\/\/www.investincotedazur.com\/en\/?p=24858\"> Klava Innovation<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.investincotedazur.com\/exadex-innov-ethicscience-2025\/\">ExAdEx-Innov<\/a> demonstrate a strong entrepreneurial momentum.<\/li><li>In June 2025, Nice-based company <a href=\"https:\/\/www.investincotedazur.com\/en\/caranx-medical-receives-fda-clearance-for-its-ai-software-guiding-heart-valve-implantation\/\">Caranx Medical <\/a>received FDA clearance for an AI software used in cardiac surgery, illustrating the region\u2019s excellence in medical robotics and digital health.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:37px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2>Team Nice C\u00f4te d\u2019Azur: an operational facilitator<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>At the heart of this momentum, Team Nice C\u00f4te d\u2019Azur plays a strategic role as a connector and operational facilitator, supporting both:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>The establishment of new industrial players such as Medpackinter and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.investincotedazur.com\/en\/circum-medtech-pharma-expands-its-industrial-development-in-tunisia-from-nice\/\">Circum Medtech Pharma<\/a>,<\/li><li>The development of collaborative projects among local organizations,<\/li><li>And the promotion of healthcare innovation at the regional, national, and international levels.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:37px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2>A community in the making<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Each edition of the afterwork helps strengthen both personal and professional ties among life sciences stakeholders in the region.
