This edition, focused on <strong>advanced medical biotechnologies<\/strong>, aims to connect high-potential companies with the Japanese industrial ecosystem. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Organized in partnership with the<strong> Invest Japan J-Bridge platform<\/strong>, the program is aimed at a limited number of startups \u2014 <strong>about five<\/strong> \u2014 rigorously selected according to technological criteria, clinical maturity, and strategic commitment to Japan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:43px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2>Eligibility criteria and targeted sectors<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>JEAP 2025 is aimed at companies active in the following sectors:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Regenerative medicine<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Cell and gene therapies (in-vivo and ex-vivo)<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Tissue engineering<\/strong>, including <strong>scaffolds<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>ATMPs <\/strong>(Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products)<\/li><li>Combined products or derivatives of cell and gene therapy<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Startups must meet the following conditions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li><strong>Ongoing clinical development:<\/strong> at least one candidate in preclinical or clinical development.<\/li><li><strong>Japan entry strategy<\/strong>: a project for commercial expansion or a concrete intention to integrate into the Japanese market.<\/li><li><strong>Operational availability:<\/strong> commitment to follow all program sessions.<\/li><li><strong>Participation in the Demo Day<\/strong>: ability to present in Tokyo in February 2026 and take part in associated communication actions.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:43px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2>A structured and progressive schedule<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The program runs over six months, with clearly defined milestones:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>September 8 \u2013 October 31, 2025<\/strong>: applications via a dedicated online form<\/li><li><strong>Early November<\/strong>: pre-selection based on applications<\/li><li><strong>Mid to late November:<\/strong> online interviews with pre-selected startups<\/li><li><strong>End of November<\/strong>: announcement of selected startups<\/li><li><strong>December 2025<\/strong>: online workshops on regulations, Japanese business framework, and partnership preparation<\/li><li><strong>January to February 2026<\/strong>: tailored mentoring, matching with Japanese CDMOs\/CROs and targeted pharmaceutical companies<\/li><li><strong>Late February 2026<\/strong>: <strong>Demo Day<\/strong> in <strong>Tokyo<\/strong>, in front of investors, industry leaders, and healthcare ecosystem partners<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:43px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2>Participation conditions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Participation is free<\/strong> for selected startups.
