In an informal format, the event brought together startups, researchers, biotechnology experts, academics, investors, and support organizations to foster direct, concrete, and cross-disciplinary interactions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the core of this initiative: the goal of connecting innovators \u2014 both new entrants and long-standing players \u2014 around common HealthTech challenges, while reinforcing the sector\u2019s momentum in the Nice C\u00f4te d\u2019Azur region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:57px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2><strong>An industrial momentum initiated from the start<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The afterwork was initiated by Medpackinter, the French subsidiary of Medpack, a group founded in 2012 in Tunisia and specializing in pharmaceutical packaging \u2014 in particular compact cardboard cases and leaflet printing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For its recent establishment in Nice, Medpackinter benefited from the support of Team Nice C\u00f4te d\u2019Azur. The team facilitated the company\u2019s integration by introducing it to key economic, institutional, and real estate stakeholders in the region. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The afterwork organized in this context reflects a clear ambition from Medpackinter: to play an active role in the local health ecosystem by contributing to networking opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:57px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2><strong>Showcasing emerging local expertise<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Several young companies took the opportunity to present their projects in short, targeted pitches, enhancing visibility and networking. These presentations highlighted the diversity of HealthTech models: medical devices, biotechnologies, artificial intelligence applied to health, and clinical research. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The simultaneous presence of research, innovation, finance, and public support players fostered direct exchanges of solutions, needs, and collaboration prospects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:57px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2><strong>Team Nice C\u00f4te d\u2019Azur: an operational facilitator<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The organization of this afterwork is part of a broader effort to connect new entrants with long-established stakeholders in the region. Thanks to its in-depth knowledge of strategic industries and a consolidated partner network, the agency supports both the establishment of new industrial players, such as Medpackinter, and the promotion and visibility of collaborative projects in health, sports, and innovation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:57px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2><strong>The dynamism of the health sector in Nice C\u00f4te d\u2019Azur<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The attractiveness of the C\u00f4te d\u2019Azur territory in health is based on a structured, interconnected ecosystem combining cutting-edge hospital infrastructure, academic excellence, technological innovation, and entrepreneurial initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Nice University Hospital, in partnership with Universit\u00e9 C\u00f4te d\u2019Azur, leads major projects such as the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.investincotedazur.com\/en\/nice-will-host-hospital-university-institute-dedicated-to-respiratory-health\/\">IHU RespirERA<\/a>, dedicated to chronic respiratory diseases, reinforcing Nice\u2019s strategic positioning in precision medicine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This initiative stands alongside projects such as the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.investincotedazur.com\/en\/the-skin-institute-to-be-established-in-nice\/\">Skin Institute<\/a> (digital dermatology) and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.investincotedazur.com\/en\/ai-cluster-the-3ia-cote-dazur-institute-has-been-labeled-and-will-benefit-from-an-investment-of-e20-million\/\">3IA C\u00f4te d\u2019Azur,<\/a> a center of excellence in artificial intelligence applied to health (biomarkers, predictive medicine, digital twins).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Universit\u00e9 C\u00f4te d\u2019Azur plays a central role through programs such as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.investincotedazur.com\/en\/nucleate-france-unica-strengthens-the-ties-between-research-industry-and-entrepreneurship-in-life-sciences\/\">Nucleate France UniCA<\/a>, facilitating the transition from academic research to entrepreneurship in life sciences.
