The investment, structured as convertible bonds, will be converted into equity when a new investor joins by the end of 2025. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This operation enables the company to launch a new phase of industrial structuring and extend its scope internationally, with <strong>a new branch planned in Italy in the second half of 2025.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2><strong>Volta\u00efca: a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.investincotedazur.com\/champions-croissance-nice\/\">fast-growing<\/a> independent renewable energy producer<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Founded in <strong>2008 in Bastia<\/strong> by <strong>Christian and Jean-Marc Giudicelli<\/strong>, Volta\u00efca is a subsidiary of the <strong>Giudicelli Group<\/strong>, a family-owned holding that remains the majority shareholder after this transaction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The company recorded <strong>\u20ac19 million in revenue in 2024<\/strong>, employs around <strong>50 permanent staff<\/strong>, and relies on a network of <strong>40 independent business managers<\/strong> across France. It is headed by <strong>Jarka Houssin<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To date, Volta\u00efca has developed <strong>more than 600 photovoltaic power plant projects<\/strong>, mainly rooftop installations for the agricultural and industrial sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2><strong>Operational organization and regional presence<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Volta\u00efca operates from three sites: <strong>Bastia <\/strong>(headquarters), <strong>Toulouse<\/strong>, and Nice (finance, sales, marketing, and training hubs).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.investincotedazur.com\/en\/photovoltaic-voltaica-continues-its-development-in-france-by-setting-up-in-the-nice-cote-dazur-metropolis\/\"><strong>The Nice branch, opened in 2023, is part of a national structuring strategy.<\/strong> The move was facilitated by <strong>Team Nice C\u00f4te d\u2019Azur<\/strong>, which supported the company in its local integration and initial real estate initiatives. <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The branch also hosts the <strong>Volta\u00efca Academy<\/strong>, an internal training center designed to build expertise and develop a pool of skilled professionals in renewable energy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2><strong>A phased financing strategy<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>FemuQu\u00ec\u2019s entry<\/strong> as a minority investor and member of the strategic committee marks the beginning of a multi-stage financing plan. <strong>A second Series B fundraising round is planned by the end of 2025.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Travalc\u00e0, the fund mobilized for this operation, was launched in 2023 with the support of the Collectivit\u00e9 de Corse and mutualist financial actors. It targets Corsican SMEs in their growth phase, with investments ranging from \u20ac500,000 to \u20ac2.5 million. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\"
