In a press release, the CHU of Nice and Eurobiomed announced the selection of the first Experimental Skin Health Hub<\/strong>, a project funded by the French government as part of the Digital Health Acceleration Strategy under the France 2030 plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. This hub, focused on dermatological diseases, benefits from a total budget of \u20ac63 million over five years, allocated across all initiatives within the program.<\/li>
  2. Its aim is to address the needs of 20 million French citizens suffering from skin conditions, leveraging digital technologies to improve diagnosis and access to care.<\/li>
  3. The initial projects will involve up to 6,000 patients in the Provence-Alpes-C\u00f4te d\u2019Azur and Corsica regions, paving the way for the future Skin Institute<\/strong>, set to open in Nice.<\/li><\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

    A Hub to Transform Dermatology<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Approved during the National Digital Health Innovation Day, the Skin Experimental Hub<\/strong> is a collaborative initiative bringing together healthcare professionals, researchers, companies, and associations Located in the south of France, it will enable the testing of solutions such as medical image analysis for faster and more accurate diagnoses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The Skin Experimental Hub is an innovative program where healthcare professionals, businesses, researchers, and patient associations collaborate to test and validate new digital solutions in dermatology. Deployed in the Provence-Alpes-C\u00f4te d\u2019Azur and Corsica regions, it plans to include up to 6,000 patients in its initial experimental projects. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The solutions developed will focus on analyzing various types of medical images to facilitate patient diagnosis and follow-up. This project will ultimately culminate in the establishment of the future Skin Institute, a physical site that will open in Nice in the coming years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    “This hub represents a unique opportunity to significantly enhance the management of skin diseases,” said Professor Thierry Passeron,<\/strong> Head of Dermatology at the CHU of Nice and project lead. “By combining medical expertise with digital technologies, we will offer faster and more accurate diagnostics without invasive procedures. These technologies should also improve access to dermatological diagnosis and care, particularly benefiting patients in areas where access to dermatologists is limited.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
