Key facts
1. Team Nice Côte d’Azur carried out a follow-up mission to Amsterdam from September 17 to 19, 2026, building on the first prospection trip held in July.
2. The mission concluded on September 19 with participation in the French Tech Amsterdam workshop, dedicated to artificial intelligence and data resilience, co-organised with nLighten.
3. Data resilience is emerging as a structuring topic: reliability, service continuity and Edge infrastructure are becoming as critical as the AI models themselves to sustain growing AI usage.
4. A return mission to Nice Côte d’Azur is being prepared for early 2027, focused on Ultra Edge, AI and data, in partnership with French Tech Amsterdam and French Tech Côte d’Azur.

A workshop dedicated to AI and data resilience
LTeam Nice Côte d’Azur’s mission to Amsterdam, held from September 17 to 19, 2026, concluded with participation in the French Tech Amsterdam workshop, co-organised with nLighten and dedicated to artificial intelligence and data resilience. This session provided an opportunity to engage with the local French Tech ecosystem on issues directly tied to digital transformation: data reliability and availability, digital service continuity, the capacity of infrastructure to support growing AI usage, and the conditions needed to develop resilient technological solutions.
A theme that resonates with the Côte d’Azur’s ambitions
This theme aligns directly with Nice Côte d’Azur’s ambitions on technological attractiveness. The territory aims to strengthen its position around artificial intelligence, data and digital infrastructure, drawing on its skills base, research players and innovation ecosystem. Data resilience is a natural extension of this strategy, addressing the technical and operational conditions needed to develop new AI use cases, along with the associated infrastructure challenges.
This approach opens several perspectives for the territory: positioning the Côte d’Azur as a development and experimentation environment for tech companies, strengthening ties between Dutch companies and Côte d’Azur players in AI and data, and identifying concrete use cases for a future cooperation sequence.
Towards a return mission in early 2027
The mission is part of the ongoing rapprochement between French Tech Amsterdam, chaired by Mylena Pierremont, and French Tech Côte d’Azur, chaired by Farouk Raïs. It notably helped prepare a return mission to Nice Côte d’Azur envisaged for early 2027, focused on Ultra Edge, artificial intelligence and data, with a concrete approach illustrated by use cases from the territory.
