Following the meeting of the Board of Directors of Team Nice Côte d’Azur held on Thursday, May 28, 2026, Pierre IPPOLITO, Fourth Deputy Mayor of the City of Nice in charge of Business, Commerce, Economic Development and Higher Education, and Vice-President of the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis, was elected President of Team Nice Côte d’Azur.
This election marks a new milestone in the development and influence of the metropolitan area’s economic attractiveness agency, at a time of intense competition among French and European metropolitan regions to attract businesses, talent, investment, and major strategic projects.
Already deeply involved in economic development, innovation, entrepreneurship, and territorial attractiveness, Pierre IPPOLITO intends to continue and strengthen the momentum built around several key priorities:
- Strengthening the economic and international attractiveness of Nice Côte d’Azur;
- Accelerating the establishment of strategic and innovative companies;
- Supporting the development of the region’s high-value sectors of excellence;
- Promoting an economic model that balances growth, innovation, and quality of life;
- Strengthening ties between public stakeholders, entrepreneurs, investors, and higher education institutions.
On the occasion of his election, Pierre IPPOLITO stated:
