Nice Côte d’Azur Airport Connected to New York for the First Time in Winter Thanks to La Compagnie

La Compagnie, the 100% business-class airline, is extending its Nice–New York (Newark) service through the 2026/2027 winter season. For the first time, travelers will be able to enjoy a direct connection between Nice and New York beyond the summer period.
The route will operate twice weekly. Departures from Nice will take place on Tuesdays and Fridays at 12:00 p.m., arriving in Newark at 3:30 p.m. Departures from Newark will take place on Mondays and Fridays at 8:30 p.m., arriving in Nice at 10:20 a.m. the following day.
This extension is driven by a dual trend: the appeal of the French Riviera among American travelers and growing demand from travelers in Southern France for a direct connection to New York.
The extension confirms Nice Côte d’Azur Airport’s strategy to strengthen its transatlantic connectivity throughout the year. The French Riviera is the best-connected region in France to the United States after Paris, with more than 300,000 passengers travelling on direct routes in 2025.

A first for the autumn-winter season

Building on the success of the route since its relaunch and the strong enthusiasm of American travelers for the French Riviera, La Compagnie is continuing to expand this service beyond the summer season. This extension reflects growing interest from North American visitors in the French Riviera year-round and supports the destination’s ambition to enhance its attractiveness across all seasons.

This extension adds to the strong momentum in connectivity at Nice Airport: the expansion of Terminal 2, inaugurated in April 2026 and increasing capacity to 18 million passengers; the launch of Delta’s Boston–Nice route in May 2026; and more than 130 destinations served during the summer 2026 season.
