- A broad audience: local and newly arrived startups and scale-ups, research and academic partners, HealthTech professionals and biotech talent, innovation hubs, accelerators, clusters and public sector players.
Building bridges between generations of innovators
On October 1, Team Nice Côte d’Azur brings the territory’s Life Sciences and HealthTech community together for an informal evening, coordinated by Sana Bouyahia, Head of Project Development – Health & Sports. The idea: get those who have shaped the ecosystem for years talking with those who have just settled in.
Three sequences structure the evening. The first sets the scene with an overview of the region’s momentum in life sciences. The second gives the floor to startups, institutions and innovation support organisations. The last, a cocktail, leaves room for conversation among founders, researchers, investors and public sector representatives.
A landscape that has thickened in 2026
Attendees will find an ecosystem that has moved a great deal this year. Nice University Hospital and Cannes Hospital signed the founding agreement of AZUR, a territorial clinical research entity, at the end of March. The SKIN Experimentation Third Place opened in May at Nice University Hospital. On the funding side, Eurobiomed mobilised nearly €250M for its members in the first half of 2026, with biotechs capturing more than 60% of it.
