Carros - Le Broc Industrial Zone
The Carros-Le-Broc Industrial Zone is located just north-west of the city of Nice, approximately 12 kms from Nice International Airport and 8 kms from the A8 toll highway via a national route.
550 companies employing 7,500 people are located on this 188-hectare (464-acre) area.
This site was entirely developed by the Alpes-Maritimes General Council for all types of non-polluting manufacturing and research facilities.
With an accumulated turnover of 1.2 billion euros, Carros-Le Broc is today an industrial force within the Côte d'Azur.
The main activities represented on the site are distributed as follows:
- industrial activities 36%
- commercial activities 26%
- services 18%
- building 11%
- transport 8%
Projects of an extension to the North, and a connection with Le Bec de l'Esteron are currently studied.
