Nice: A new Media Manager Masters Course at Ipag

From September 2012, this new masters will include a course focusing on information and new media

From September 2012, Ipag Nice is beginning a new Media Manager masters: a training course which covers the editorial, economic, technical and marketing aspects of new information and communication media.

This Masters responds to the convergence of skills between information roles and those in communication. Internet journalists need management skills and communication managers in companies or in agencies must learn editorial skills. They all need an excellent knowledge of technology.

A non-specialised, professional two-year course
In year 1, the work focuses on management, communication and content production for various media. In year 2, the course covers new business models, production, publishing and data journalism in greater detail. Over the two years, students work on a multimedia platform, including a daily online publication, an internet TV channel and an internet radio station where they can publish their work in association with Nice Premium.
Prospects
Graduates can enter information jobs (editor in chief of an online newspaper, internet radio station, or internet TV channel, or even content producer for new media), or focus on communication in agencies, companies or local authorities and become multimedia managers for internal publications, community managers for large companies or even responsible for multimedia communications.

They chose the Côte d'Azur

"Sophia-Antipolis is a very attractive region for any semiconductor company, for several reasons. The first one is that in the technology park of Sophia-Antipolis there is a solid tradition of analog and digital design, which is due to the presence of other big companies working in the same or similar markets, like Texas Instruments, Intel, STM and others. The second reason is linked to presence in the technology park of the Polytech'Nice-Sophia and other important schools.

That will guarantee our future growth since the region will always offer both experienced design engineers and you talents to hire."
