Nice Côte d'Azur Airport: Nice-Rome flights with easyJet from March 12, 2010

Nice Côte d'Azur Airport reinforces its "Business Low-cost” offer with a new route between Nice and Rome as of March 12, 2010

EasyJet will offer six weekly flights to Rome Fiumicino departing from Nice Côte d'Azur. The low cost airline is adding a new destination to its 15 routes already operated from Nice and which have represented 2.1 million passengers in 2009.


Rome is already served by Air France, Alitalia and another low cost airline, Blu-Express.


Since January 1st, 2010, a daily flight to Dubai is operated by Emirates, reinforcing the route between Nice and Dubai opened in 1994.


In 2009, new destinations have been opened between Nice and Naples with Flyonair and Bucharest with Blue Air.

Philippe Stefanini was appointed CEO in 2005 and leads Team Côte d’Azur global activities: 200 setting up projects a year in collaboration with the 20 staff members of the organization.
He previously contributed to the redevelopment of the Port of Marseilles into one of the largest business and creative district in Southern Europe known as "Euroméditerranée" (10 000 new jobs). He also held positions such as Managing Director of the IT Science Park of Montpellier, and Internal auditor for Thomson.
Graduated from Marseilles Business School, he also holds a Master of Auditing of the University of Aix en Provence. Philippe was the founder of the Montpellier International Conference on Virtual Reality and he published a book on the management of the information technologies.
