1. Which are your areas of expertise and innovation?
Nellsoft is an expert in vulnerability management. This means we can help organizations handle all types of IT security failures wherever they occur in the system as well as in web applications, network and telecom networks or source codes in internal or external developed applications. We can also provide turnkey solutions to organizations that want to keep tools and know-how in-house as well as supplying IT security consulting, audits and vulnerability assessments. We supply services to every type of company, from the smallest right up to multinationals in a host of fields ranging from the public sector to administration, banks, insurance, industry, Internet players (online sales, online betting, etc.) and ISPs, etc.
2. Why did you decide to set-up a branch here and what is the size of your team?
The main reason for opening offices in the area is that as an Antibes resident I was fully aware of the exceptionally rich and dynamic local economic tissue. We started up in 2009 with a small team of just two people but we plan to double this and are looking actively to recruit two engineers. Last year, we also set-up a company in Austria, which is a wholly-owned subsidiary and employs three people.
3. What are your growth objectives and do you plan to set up partnerships with local players?
2009 saw our sales grow 50% and we expect to achieve at least the same level of growth this year, perhaps even exceeding last year’s figures. International markets are very important for us and we expect that our percentage of international sales will rise. We are also currently looking for local contacts in companies that want to take advantage of our international dimension.
