SIMI 2009: Nice Côte d’Azur attends international commercial real exhibition held 2-4 December
The urban authority is showcasing its rich and varied real estate offer at the dawn of 2010.
The spotlight will be firmly on the Nice Côte d’Azur urban authority’s major development projects scheduled for the area to be presented during the Salon de l’Immobilier d’Entreprise SIMI 2009, which will take place from 2-4 December in the Palais des Congrès at Porte Maillot in Paris.
The Opération d’Intérêt National Plaine du Var/Eco Vallée, the Eco Quartiers des Moulins/Méridia, the Saint-Isidore/Grand Stade, the Gare du Sud in Nice, and others, are all ambitious projects that visitors can discover by coming along to the Nice-Côte d’Azur stand (located at C06-Niveau 1). The projects also reflect the city’s ambition to set the standard as the leading ‘environmentally-friendly city in the Mediterranean region. The city will also be presenting its new programs for the Arénas area, which is located opposite the Nice Côte d’Azur international airport, and which will offer a large amount of office space suitable for leading international firms. Companies deciding to locate within the OIN Plaine du Var/Eco Vallée (Nice Méridia, l'Arénas, Nice la Plaine, le PAL and Nice Lingostière) areas will also benefit from a host of advantages made available through the OIN that include development subsidies (Prime d’aménagement du territoire). The stand will also act as a shop window for the range of service sector real estate offered around the Côte d’Azur thanks to projects that include the extension of the Technopolis at Cagnes-sur-Mer and the launch of the Plan du Bois/IBM technology park at La Gaude.
Team Côte d’Azur, which is facilitating discussions in the new ADI – Association des Directeurs Immobiliers (Association of Real Estate Directors) “sustainable locations” working group will use the forthcoming SIMI to encourage top real estate managers at France’s leading companies to take sustainability into account in their future plans.
