Club Business 06 and the CCI sign an agreement in
Team Côte d’Azur headquarters at 400 Promenade des Anglais in Nice.
The Club Business 06 and the CCI (International Chamber of Commerce) signed an agreement at Team Côte d’Azur’s offices on May 13 to gather together all 1,200 members of the Club Business 06 on a collective platform. And it was also an opportunity to announce the launch of the Club Business 06’s “e-communauté des entrepreneurs des Alpes-Maritimes” (e-community for Alpes-Maritimes business entrepreneurs) on the Côte d’Azur Ecobiz platform.
Set-up in March 2006, the Club Business 06, which brings together entrepreneurs, CEOs, top executives and self-employed workers, grew in size very rapidly, “We started out to create a virtual network virtually via Viadeo, and then Linkedin. But we realized that we needed to be able to meet face-to-face and we quickly started organizing monthly evening get-togethers, which have become a great success,” noted Emmanuel Gaulin, who came up with the idea.
With over 1000 participants today, the Club Business 06 has become a full scale association and elected its founder as president. As a result of the pact signed between the Club Business 06 and the CCI, the Club Business 06 website will be set-up and hosted on the Côte d’Azur Ecobiz platform. “This partnership with the CCI will enable us to benefit from the software available via Ecobiz that offers more functionalities and configurations, particularly to create your profile,” explains Emmanuel. “ It’s also a natural way to be part of the Côte d’Azur’s business community who already have a presence on the CCI Côte d’Azur Ecobiz and to promote closer relations between local players”.
As for the CCI, its Côte d’Azur Ecobiz platform, which was launched in December 2007, is home to 20 communities and is expected to have between 5,000 and 6,000 members between now and the end of the year. In the near future it should continue to be enriched as it starts hosting other regional networks.
