The Côte d'Azur - A strategic site to relocate corporate central functions

Corporate central function teams are becoming increasingly multicultural.

Attracting and retaining top profiles requires choosing a thriving environment, facilitating international mobility of high potential but also providing a steadiliy rising pool of skilled manpower.

The French Riviera is one of the few European locations that meet these criteria.

The proportion of international workers is one of the highest with 160 nationalities and the strong presence of international schools with 3500 seats on an elementary and high school level reinforce the international status of the region.

Management teams, as well as marketing and customer services should be given the opportunity to develop and grow with the proximity of an important pool of high-level and qualified professionals.

The University of Nice-Sophia Antipolis has over 10 000 students in economics, management and law. The region is also home to EDHEC and SKEMA Business School - two elite business schools with international standing.

Controlling corporate central function costs.
The French Riviera offers highly competitive real estate costs and very low travel costs to the main European business cities.

The Nice business district and Sophia Antipolis, the premier Science and Technology Park in Europe, continue to expand their real estate offer.

The Nice Airport ranks as the first airport in France in terms of the number of low-cost seats and same day return flights to main European business destinations.

Since 2007, A "PAT" regional incentive package applies in the business district of Nice for the setting up of corporate central functions, management services and tertiary functions.

The French Riviera, which already hosts several Research and Development activities in Sophia Antipolis, is acquiring one of the most competitive real state offers in Nice for the establishment of decision centers.

They chose the Côte d'Azur

"Sophia-Antipolis is a very attractive region for any semiconductor company, for several reasons. The first one is that in the technology park of Sophia-Antipolis there is a solid tradition of analog and digital design, which is due to the presence of other big companies working in the same or similar markets, like Texas Instruments, Intel, STM and others. The second reason is linked to presence in the technology park of the Polytech'Nice-Sophia and other important schools.

That will guarantee our future growth since the region will always offer both experienced design engineers and you talents to hire."
